BMW has a well-deserved reputation as a maker of rugged, all-terrain-conquering motorcycles that also serve as capable, good-mannered street machines. These days the bike that fills that image in most motorcyclists’ minds is the F650GS. The G650GS and G650GS Sertao represent the next stage on the evolution of the BMW GS lineup. Like the original, the Sertao is more than a dual sport because it’s aimed squarely at the burgeoning adventure touring segment, and more specifically, the entry-level adventure touring rider. BMW had hoped the twin-cylinder F800GS would fit the bill these past few years, but the demand for a low-cost, even less-intimidating ADV bike helped facilitate the return of one of our old favorites.

G650GS Fitted with a standpipe of 41 mm diameter and a stabiliser, so you can travel 210 mm instead of 170 mm.The rear suspension system, consisting of a two arm swinging fork, make your trip more beautiful spring. In addition, the wheelbase has been extended from 1477 mm to 1484 mm, now providing even greater directional stability on offroad terrain.

The G 650 GS Sertão  be fitted with other wheels that cater to a more sporting offroad taste. Unlike the G 650 GS fitted with cast . With their larger front wheel diameter of 21 instead of 19 inches and smaller rear wheel rim width (3.00 x 17" instead of 3.50 x 17"), the new wheel sizes promise the rider hours of offroad fun. Also the tyres were modified accordingly on the G 650 GS Sertão (90/90 R21 54S front and 130/80 R17 65S rear).
